Pay that reflects market competitiveness and honors your level of expertise: Our compensation philosophy is designed to attain market competitiveness by aligning current geographic and health care industry data with careful consideration of the skills, knowledge, proficiency and experience each person brings to the job. Centura Health monitors market data, trends and participates in many national, regional and local salary surveys to support our pay practices. In addition, our recognition program acknowledges and rewards the excellence of associates who deliver a level of care that differentiates us from other hospital and health care organizations. Our premium pay practices, including shift differentials, call pay, targeted incentives, etc., also reflect best practices in the marketplace. Our pay and benefits, along with a culture where “we live our Values” makes Centura Health a great place to work.

Retirement planning/401(k): Centura Health is also proud to offer a 401(k) plan with a generous annual employer contribution and matching rate. When an eligible associate contributes six percent of their pay, they can earn up to six percent in employer contributions. Our financial partners also provide tools and education to help you plan and save for the future.

Wellness resources, education and support: As part of the Centura Health family, you’ll have access to Code You, our internal well-being program included as part of our benefits. Code You provides associates (and their spouses enrolled in a Centura Health Medical Plan) with health and well-being programs for emotional, behavioral and social support; resources for lifestyle improvement; opportunities for  fun activities and challenges; wellness incentives to reduce Medical Plan premiums; preventive care and disease management. As a new hire, you have the option to receive a complimentary biometric screening during the pre-employment process.

Direct care access when the need arises: As a population health organization committed to quality care delivery, Centura Health associates have direct access to the same great care they help to provide through our hospitals, physician clinics, health neighborhoods, occupational health centers, etc. including our 24/7 virtual care clinic (MDLIVE.com) so covered members can connect with a physician anytime, from anywhere.

Education/tuition assistance: We offer a number of opportunities to help you pursue educational goals, including tuition reimbursement to offset education costs, discounted school partnerships, development programs and online learning. Depending on the entity where you work, and your full- or part-time status, you may be eligible for up to $3,000 per year in tuition reimbursement. Support for mandatory clinical education and training is also offered.
